Frequently Asked Questions
How does an individual receive services through Camelot Society?
In order to receive services through Camelot Society, you must contact your DDA Case Manager and have them assist you with the referral to our agency. Your DDA Case Manager will then contact us.
What is the initial intake process after a referral has been made by DDA to Camelot Society?
ICF/IID Group Home: After an individual has been referred to us by DDA, a site visit generally takes place. Following the visit, if the individual is interested in placement, then our DDA Resource Manager submits a referral packet to the Admissions Review Team (ART). ART then determines if the individual is appropriate for an ICF/IID setting based on the assessed level need. If they determine that the individual is appropriate and we feel that we can meet the needs of the individual, then the team (which consists of the current placement, the family, DDA and Camelot) coordinates the intake process.
Supported Living: The process for Supported Living (SL) is essentially the same as the ICF/IIDs, however the ART is not involved with SL referrals.
